JYP’s official position “TWICE Nayeon overseas stalker complaint+ application for access ban”

JYP Entertainment has filed a complaint against the group’s TWICE Nayeon overseas stalker.

“We filed a criminal complaint against Nayeon, a member of TWICE, with the Gangnam Police Station in southern Seoul on Tuesday, accusing him of obstruction of business (Article 314 of the Criminal Code),” TWICE’s agency JYP Entertainment said. “We have also filed an injunction with the Central District Court in Seoul on Tuesday.”

“In addition to the above measures, we will continue to take all measures of the highest intensity to ensure the safety of the artist.”

Earlier, JYP Entertainment warned Nayeon several times to never approach the stalker himself, who tries to keep her access. However, the stalker continued to ignore the warnings, and he tried to approach Nayeon again on the first day of his flight home from overseas.

Hello, I’m JYP Entertainment.

We filed a criminal complaint against Nayeon, a member of TWICE, for obstruction of business (Article 314 of the Criminal Law) at Gangnam Police Station in southern Seoul on Tuesday.

In addition, the court in central Seoul has completed its application for a restraining injunction.

We have warned Nayeon several times before that he should never be approached by a stalker himself who tries to continue his approach. Nevertheless, the stalker has continued to ignore it, and it was only on the first day that he boarded a plane returning from an overseas trip and tried to approach Nayeon again, causing a big commotion on the plane.

In addition to the above actions, we are committed to continuing with all of the highest intensity measures to ensure the safety of the artist.
